many things to many people
Caitlin Donohue:
NYC-Based Multi-Hyphenate
Born and raised in New Hampshire, Caitlin spent her childhood immersed in the arts, creative writing, and a love of sports—particularly cheering on the Red Sox. Her passions for theatre, writing, sports, and education led her to Boston University, where she earned a journalism degree while starring in numerous theatrical productions.
Now based in New York City, Caitlin wears many hats: actor, writer, teacher, career coach, and digital media specialist—approaching each role with creativity, passion, and energy.
Theatre & Education
Caitlin made her professional stage debut at age 9 and has since graced venues ranging from Fenway Park to Symphony Space's Peter Jay Sharp Theatre, Atlantic Theater Company's Linda Gross Theatre, Theatre Row on 42nd Street, Boston's Cutler Majestic Theatre, Kansas City Starlight, and more. The New York Times praised her "spirited" New York stage debut in EGOT-winner Robert Lopez's 1001 NIGHTS. She then spent over two years originating the role of Addy in the critically acclaimed ADDY & UNO, the first-ever Off-Broadway musical to feature five characters with disabilities.
Offstage, Caitlin has thrived as a drama teacher, acting and vocal coach, workshop director, choreographer, playwright, and lyricist. Her current offstage endeavor is assistant directing Broadway Youth Ensemble, a renowned children's performance group whose membership boasts over 50 Broadway shows, tours, and recordings.
Media
Caitlin has contributed her media expertise to PBS Boston, New England Sports Network, and Golf Digest Ireland. During her six months at NESN, she wrote and published over 150 original news articles, many of which got picked up by larger outlets like FoxSports and ESPN. She served as editor for her colleague's autobiography in 2016, which reached Amazon's Top 20 Performing Arts books.
She has spent several years as a live operations specialist for Disney Streaming Services, where she's managed thousands of live streams for NHL, MLS, and ESPN International. She works as a digital strategy consultant for the rapidly growing Wise Wonder Enrichment program in NYC & NJ.
